Each month we will be highlighting a #MashoftheMonth, focusing on a tool or application within Purple Mash and how it can be used within the classroom to support learning across the curriculum. Every year, thousands of schools, nurseries, colleges, community groups and organisations work together during the UK's biggest road safety event, raising awareness about road safety and helping save lives. Road Safety Week is the ideal time to run road safety lessons and assemblies or launch a campaign for safer local streets.

It’s never too early to start spreading the festive cheer, and that's why we're thrilled to announce that our annual Purple Mash Festive Card Competition is opening soon. It's time to put on your creative Santa hat and join the fun! Design a festive card about what the festive season means to you using 2Paint a Picture and you could win 50 cards with your design on as well as a £20 voucher and lots more goodies...

This year National Recycle Week runs from 14th-20th October. This year's theme is 'Rescue Me', and focuses on rescuing recyclable items from the rubbish bin. At 2Simple, we have collected a range of activities on Purple Mash, that you can use in class to encourage everyone to recycle.
