We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a fantastic group of teachers and Computing Leads to a Purple Mash Roadshow. These Roadshows are events that we run throughout the year, across the country, to help schools make the most of their Purple Mash subscription.
Whether you're new to Purple Mash, looking to build on your existing knowledge, or keen to explore the latest innovations, these sessions are designed to leave you with practical ideas and takeaways you can use straight away in school, through high-quality CPD for Computing Leads and teachers. They're also a great opportunity to meet and connect with peers in your local area.
Our first Purple Mash Roadshow was held at the beautiful Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and from the moment teachers arrived (to a delicious pastry and hot drink), the atmosphere was relaxed, collaborative and full of curiosity.
Leading the day were our expert team members:
Throughout the sessions, they were on hand to guide, support and - most importantly - have meaningful conversations with teachers about how Purple Mash can work in their classrooms.
The day was packed with useful, classroom-focused content, including:
One of the standout aspects of the day was time built in for hands-on exploration of the platform and professional discussion.
Teachers really valued the opportunity to:
These moments of collaboration led to some incredibly productive conversations - not just with our team, but between teachers from different schools too.
What did you enjoy most about the day?
Having both the time and support from Purple Mash colleagues to work through the platform - this was invaluable as there were many elements of the platform that I wasn't aware of.

Of course, no great teacher CPD event is complete without a chance to recharge - and our coffee break didn’t disappoint!
With pastries on arrival and cake at break time, teachers had the opportunity to step away from their tables and connect with others. In fact, one delegate mentioned how unusual (and appreciated!) it was to have refreshments at a training event.
But it wasn’t just about the food - the informal setting sparked some brilliant professional conversations, including:
The feedback from the day was overwhelmingly positive, with teachers highlighting:
What really stood out was that this wasn't just a training session, it was a chance to gain fresh ideas and inspiration, build confidence using Purple Mash, and be part of a community of like-minded educators.
"So many practical demonstrations and information shared."

If you missed this one, don't worry - more events are on the way!
Whether you're just starting out or looking to get more out of Purple Mash, these events are designed to leave you feeling inspired, supported and ready to make an impact in your classroom.
