We are delighted to announce that the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research is our newest and first international Mash Partner and has partnered with us to create resources to engage schools in the Purple Mash community.
The YIVO Institute for Jewish Research is based in New York City and represents the single largest and most comprehensive collection of materials on East European Jewish civilization in the world. Dedicated to preserving the stories of Jewish life, much of their work focuses on the history and culture of East European Jewry - the ancestry of a significant number of Jewish people in the world today.
YIVO is delighted to partner with Purple Mash to bring the YIVO Online Museum into classrooms across the UK. The Online Museum has an extensive collection of primary source materials providing an engaging and deeply meaningful way for students to explore Jewish history, the Holocaust, and other critical topics, fostering a future generation grounded in tolerance and ethical values.
