In October, Black History Month will be explored across the country. It’s a time for our young learners to immerse themselves in the annual commemoration to find out about the significant contributions and achievements of the black community in the UK.

Our young learners live in an exciting, rich multicultural United Kingdom, understanding the past from a human perspective will help us all to continue to move future generations positively forward.

Black History Month 2025

The theme for Black History Month this year is 'Standing Firm in Power and Pride' and aims to 'help people of all ages connect with the lives and legacies of Black individuals who shaped our world' - Black History Month.
