Activities for Children's Mental Health Week 2026

Feb. 5, 2026

What is Children's Mental Health Week?

Children's Mental Health Week was first launched in 2015 to shine a spotlight on the importance of children's and young people’s mental health. The theme this year is This is My Place, with a focus on belonging. This year, Children's Mental Health Week runs from 9th-15th February.

How can I teach about looking after mental health in the classroom?

This year, we've partnered with some fantastic organisations to bring you a great selection of resources, consolidated in one free pack, to help support your students in understanding their mental health.

Our Partner - Beyond

Beyond are a youth mental charity that exists to improve young people’s mental health in the UK. They have a wealth of resources on their website and run the UK’s only mental health festival for schools and colleges on 5th February that is free for schools to sign up to. Beyond is powered by an impassioned youth board that is determined to instill new attitudes and are the heart and soul of the charity.

Inside the pack you'll find:

  • Interactive lesson activities from Purple Mash
  • A Parent's Toolkit for Wellbeing
  • Two wellbeing units from Striver, focusing on mindfulness
  • Mindfulness Pocket Postcards from Striver
