The Mash of the Month for March is 2Code. 2Code is a tool to introduce computer programming (coding) to children. It has three key components: free code, guided lessons and debug challenges, hopefully you have seen that 2Code has had an update.

Computer Science education week (CSEd Week) 2022 runs from December 5th to 11th.

This year, we're giving you free access to 5 Purple Mash self-guided coding activities as well as a full 45-minute Python in Pieces coding lesson.

We also highlight our top 3 Purple Mash coding tools for all ages.

Computer Science education week is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hooper; this year the week runs from December 7-13. Purple Mash has a whole range of applications and activities that you can make use of either for an hour of code, the whole week and even throughout the year.
